Overview

University House has a specialty high-quality inkjet printer for students & staff within the School of Humanities, Creative Industries & Social Sciences (HCISS) used for photography printing. The printers are only to be used for assignments, exhibitions and folio-based work.

The Epson has 11 inks, enabling it to produce professional levels of vibrant colours and detail compared to a personal 4 ink CMYK printer.

Access & Usage

These printers are Class Red Equipment – their physical operation is to be conducted by technical and inducted staff only during business hours, however, prints can be submitted 24/7.

Prints can be submitted at any time via the online Print Submit Form:

Access to the HCISS Print Lab Makerspace requires successfully completing all of the following inductions:

  1. The Level 1 General Induction
  2. The Level 2 City Makerspaces Induction

Payment & Pick-Up

Payment must be made before prints are released via the Print Media Payment Portal, proof of this purchase is uploaded alongside the print submission.

You will receive an email when your print is ready for collection.

Pick-up is between 10 – 11am & 3 – 4pm, Monday to Friday from the Makerspace Print Lab in UNHG07. See Technical Staff (UNHG03) for more information.
